Irl "Mike" Davis is the founder and CEO of Global One

Irl Davis is the founder and CEO of Global One.  Global One is an International consulting company founded in 2000 specializing in emerging markets.  His company provides a variety of services to their global customers including; sourcing, designing, manufacturing, transportation, logistics and marketing.  Previously, Mr. Davis spent over 25 years in China where he founded and managed a global manufacturing company. The company shipped products into over 17 different countries and owned facilities in four.

Mr. Davis holds a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering and a Masters degree in Chinese Law. He has been an advisor counsel to a number of businesses and organizations.  In 2005 he was selected by the World Trade Center as a recipient of the Washington State Marco Polo Award for his success in internal trade.  He was appointed by the Washington State Governor to serve on the Global Competitiveness Council.  The council was convened by the Governor to identify ways to enhance Washington’s competitiveness in the world marketplace and to help frame the future for Washington. 

Mr. Davis has conducted business in over 20 different countries including Vietnam, Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Russia, Turkey, Macedonia, Mexico and Colombia.

Mr. Davis published the book “The American Entrepreneur in Asia: A Personal Journey of Global Proportions”, which is a must-read guide for every businessperson wanting to extend into the international marketplace.  The book is published in English and Spanish.

Mr. Davis has held various positions as: USA Director for the Republic of Turkey, Board of Director for the World Trade Center and a number of commercial businesses in the USA and Asia.
